24-year-old Georgian forward Giorgi Alaverdashvili joined Lithuanian “Banga” this summer and scored 11 goals in 15 matches. As a result he took the seventh place among top bombardiers in Lithuanian season. His achievements were notices and it is already decided that he will continue playing in quite stronger league- in Romania, particularly in “Pandurii” which is in the third place in Romanian championship.
Giorgi has signed a 6-months plus 2-year contract with “Pandurii” today. “Pandurii” has 30 points in 15 matches and it is behind only “Stiauasa” and “Astra”. Alavardashvili was 17-year-old when he was playing for “Lokomotivi” Tbilisi quite well. After that he changed several clubs and in the last season he even used to play for “Guria” Lanchkhuti. He had bad times, but in Lithuania he did well and now he is a player of “Pandurii”.
