Before the second qualifying match of Champions League, “Zestafoni” two times champion of Georgia is in the difficult situation after the first match. The club held the weakest match against “Neftchi” of Baku 3:0. “Zestafoni” needs to overcome three-point obstacle, which will be very difficult. Going through the next stage in such situation is difficult to any club, especially against the club which was better than “Zestafoni’ in each football parameters a week ago.
Before the important match, at 20:00 o’clock “Zestafoni” held the match at “Davit Abashidze”. Half an hour before, Gia Chiaberashvili head coach of “Zestafoni” held the press-conference. He came with Zurab Mamaladze captain of the club for meeting journalists. Sergo Putkaradze press-speaker of the club greeted the journalists and after that Chiaberashvili talked about the mood in the club and the first match.

Gia Chiaberashvili:” we are in usual regime, the club is well-prepared and we are very determined. Unfortunately, we played very badly in the first match. We were preparing for this match for a long time and supposedly it was the weakest match in our history. I do not remember “Zestafoni” has ever played so terribly. This is football and everything can be happened. We could not play in Baku but now the contrary can happen. I hope that with support of our fans we will achieve our goal. In its home-town “Zestafoni” always used to achieve its goal and it will be so now too. We will do our best on the field and our fans will do their best in the tribunes. If I were you, I would write more terrible things after this following match, but you did not do this. As a result guys are nor disappointed before the match.
- What about Aptsiaur, who was injured in the first match?
Tornike trained yesterday. According to the doctors’ decision, he can play. Coaching board will decide he will play or not.  
-Are other players injured?
Besides Khidasheli everyone is in a good physical condition. Aleksy Benashvili has already recovered and can play.
-Do you think about any tactical changes?
Our goal is going through the next stage. We know that it is difficult to do. We have to attack and win with the desirable score. We can take risk for achieving our goal. Every player will do their best. Besides going through the next stage, some other result will be unacceptable for us. Only victory, which will bring us the second stage is acceptable for us.
- How do you think, is “Neftchi” higher class club than “Zestafoni”?
Azerbaijani club has players, who are experienced play high-class football. The trump of “Zestafoni” is team playing. We are better than “Neftchi” with this component. We have superiority and we will try to prove it in the next match.
After Gia Chiaberiashvili, Zurab Mamaladze talked to the journalists:” we are specially preparing for this match. We can do miracle with our fans at “Davit Abashidze”. As far as you see, the reps of ‘Zestafoni” are optimistic. Tickets cost 5-7 GEL and the match starts at 21:00 o’clock at “Davit Abashidze”.
