Georgians "Pleased" with Going Through Quarter-Final

 

 

Two Georgian sportsmen – Khatuna Narimanidze and Kristine Esebua went through quarter final of World Archery Championship 2012. Unfortunately they could not coninue fighting for medals.
After qualifying shooting, Esebua was No,2 and after beating compatriot Diasamidze (31th in classification) won over lady Brito of Venesuela. In quarter final Esebua played against American Miranda Lik and lost.
Khatuna Narimanidze lost with one of the best European archer Natalya Valieva (Italy), who was No.21 after the first day. Before this match Georgian sportsman beat Italian Guendalina Sartori and Russian Dinara Yanbarisova.Lik and Valieva managed to go through final.
As team championship, Georgian national team ranked as No.6 in classification played against Italy (Rank No.3) and lost in quarter final match.
