World Chess Federation (FIDE) has published renovated world ranking and as usual there are a lot of Georgian chess players, but there is only one Georgian grand master in top 100 among men – Baadur Jobava is on the 30th place with 2713 points.
Carlsen Magnusof Norway (2821) is a leader of this rating. Anand Viswanathan of India (2817), Aronian Levon of Armenia (2805), Karjakin Sergey of Russia (2788), Kramnik Vladimir of Russia (2781), Ivanchuk Vassily of Ukraine (2768), Ponomariov Ruslan of Ukraine (2768), Topalov Veselin of Bulgaria (2768), Nakamura Hikaru of the USA (2821) and Mamedyarov Shakhriyar of Azerbaijan (2765) are in the top 10.
As for women ranking, Polgar Judit of Hungary (2699) is still leader. Georgian chess player Nana Dzagnidze replaced to the 7th place the fourth time. The following players are in top 10: 1. There are not any Georgian chess players in U-20 Juniors’ ranking, but as for U-20 girls’ ranking there are the following players: 6.Nazi Paikidze (2416), 17. Sofiko Guramishvili (2329), 18.Keti Tsitsilashvili(2318) and 20.Meri Arabidze (2311. World champion Yifan Hou is leader of U-20 girls’ statistics.
