The fact that “Bennet Cantu” won a right to play in the final is a merit of Georgian basketball players – they earned 33 points in the game against “Scavolini” Pesaro (71:64).

Shermadini became the best players of the previous game. He earned 18 points, 3 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 block-shot in 22 minutes. Georgian center scored 7 from 8 2 points and all 4 free throws. He lost the ball twice, received 4 personal fouls and 4 fouls were committed against him.

Markoishvili was not in the main staff like Shermadini. He collected 15 points, 6 rebounds, 1 steal and 2 assists in 25 minutes. “Manu” scored 3 from 6 2 points, 3 from 4 3 points and 3 from 4 free throws. He received two fouls and three fouls were committed against him.

Vladimir Micov of Serbia from “Bennet Cantu” played well too. He earned 9 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists, 2 steals and 1 block-shot. Jumaine Jones of America became leader from “Scavolini” with 20 points and 10 rebounds.

“Montepaschi” beat “Emporio Armani Milano” 67:65 in the second semifinal.
