Georgians Could not Go though the First Stage

 

Greco-Roman style wrestler Manuchar Tskhadaia (66kg,the best sportsman of Georgia in 2009) wrestled unsuccessfully in the World Wrestling Championship which is being held in the capital of Russia,Moscow. Bronze medal-owner of European Championship and silver medal-owner of World Championship could not defeat Arman Adikyan of Armenia. He lost chance of winning silver and golden medal. Aremnian sportsman could not go through the final and in a result of it Tskhadaia will not be able to wrestle in repechage.
Two members of Georgian Team are to wrestle today. But they also could not succeed in the first round of the main wrap.

Soso Jabidze (96kg) could not defeat Abdelfattah of Egypt. Only Lasha Gogitadze (55kg) managed to win, but only once. He also could not go though the 1/8 final. After defeating Czech Yan Hoko he could not defeat European Champion Finn Haapamaki. The last stage of 55, 66 and 96 weight categories will start at 19:30 Tbilisi time.
