No.1 seed Kvatsabaia defeated Paula Natalia Orlini Campos of Italy 6:3, 6:0 in the first round. Then, she beat Julia Schiller of Switzerland 7:6 (7:0), 6:3. Gorgodze won both matches: 6:1, 6:2 – over Sofia Dmitrieva of Russia and 6:4, 6:4 – over Kathinka von Diechmann of Luxembourg.
