Georgian sambo players won two bronze medals at the World SAMBO Championship which is underway in the capital of Georgia, Tbilisi. 5 sportsmen are in final and will fight for golden medals in the evening.

Georgian Youth Team was the most successful. Zviad Kapanadze (68 kg), Zaza Davadze (90) and Levam Mukeria (100) were near to golden medals. Kapanadze will wrestle against Belarus Aleksander Koqsha, Davadze – Seimur Feidarov of Azerbaijan and as for Mukeria, he wrestles against Anatoly Poik. Form Junior Team Slava Rezesidze will fight for golden medal (+87 kg). He beat Ukrainian Paolo Mokhonko in decisive match and Beka Ratiani (81 kg) took the third place. U-20 Nino Odzelashvili also will wrestle in final (72 kg). Her opponent will be Anjela Murozova of Belarus. Darina Abuladze (48 kg) gained bronze medal.

Final matches will be held at 18:00.
