14 Georgians will wrestle on the mat of London Olympic Games. Freestyle wrestlers gained licenses in all 7 weight classes and Greco-Romans – in six. One referee is added to Georgian wrestling delegation – Georgian Wrestling Federation received official report on Edisher Machaidze.

Edisher Machaidze was the only candidate from Georgia because only he is a high category referee. Then first category comes. Malkhaz Jorbenadze, Zaza Jibladze, Temur Kazarashvili and Gela Janelidze are in this category. They can judge almost all tournaments except Olympic Games and World Championship. Georgia does not have a representative in second category. Gia Kotishadze, Ednar Lomanadze and Misha Grdzelidze are in third category. They are allowed to referee lower level international tournaments.

London Olympic Games will start on July 27. Wrestlers will start participation from August 5. On August 5, 6 and 7, Greco-Roman champions will be found out and on August 10-11 – freestyle champions.
