After Fort Walton Beach (25 000 USD), Georgian quartet Maka Chakhnashvili, Sofia Shapatava, Ekaterine Gorgodze and Sofia Kvatsabaia started participation in Clearwater tournament (25 000 USD) in Florida.

All four Georgians started participation from the qualifying draw. No.4 seed Chakhnashvili played against Kvatsabaia in the first round. Maka was winning 2:1 when Sofia retired. In the second round Chakhnashvili will play against Eugenie Bouchard of Canada who beat No.16 seed Shapatava 6:0, 6:4.

As for Gorgodze, she defeated Amra Sadikovic of Switzerland 7:4 in the first set when her rival retired. No.1 seed Camila Giorgi of Italy will be opponent of Ekaterine in the last round of the qualifying draw.

Natia Gegia will compete in Astana tournament (Kazakhstan, 10 000 USD). Georgian tennis player will start participation from the main draw. Nadezhda Gorbachkova of Russia will be her first opponent. In doubles draw, Gegia and Aselya Arginbayeva of Kazakhstan will play against No.1 seed Russian-Ukrainian duet (Pashkova-Vasylyeva).

Cleopatra Karumashvili was to play in the qualifying draw of Antalya tournament (Turkey, 10 000 USD). Though, she was not able to play against No.13 seed Stefania Rubini of Italy.
