World Boxing Championship started in the capital of Azerbaijani, Baku. At this tournament are represented 10 Georgian sportsmen. On the first day of the tournament 2 Georgians wrestled and both of them celebrated victory.
Avtandil Chubabria won over Belarusian Vadim Kirilenk in 29 kg weight category. In 91 kg weight category, Davit Gogiashvili beat Estonian Rain Carlson.
Georgian boxers will hold the next match on October 3. Chubabria wrestles against Italian Alex Feramosk, who had a rest in the first circle. As for Gogiashvili, he wrestles against Julio Castelo of Ecuador.
Today, Severian Chiladze (52 kg) wrestles against Iranian Iman Taieb. The winner in this couple will wrestle against Hesham Abdulaal (Egypt) or Andrew Selb (Wales).
