Georgian and Armenian Ministries of Sport and Youth Affairs signed memorandum for negotiations. Lado Vardzelashvili a Minister of Georgian Sport and Youth Affairs and his Armenian colleague Artur Petrosyan signed a memorandum in Ministry. Before that, they had closed meeting for twenty minutes.
Petrosyan who is giving an official visit in Georgia, viewed museum located in Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs. Then both of the ministers visited Presidential administration.
“I am glad that you invited me in Tbilisi. I want to thank the Minister of Sport and Youth Affairs. Memorandum for mutual understanding in sport and youth affairs was singed by Armenian and Georgian sides and it gives us opportunity to restore old friendly relations again. Memorandum also foresees carrying out joint projects and programs in sport”- stated Artur Petrosyan.
On December 17 at 10:00 a.m. is planned meeting with State University students, then the ministers will visit “Shevardeni” rugby base, swimming complex “Olympics” and Judo Academy located in Digomi.
