Georgia Lost to Scotland 6:15

 

Georgian national rugby team lost to Scotland 6:15 in the first match of World Cup. Georgians could not manage to take premium point.

Merab Kvirikashvili scored penalty but before the break, the opponent scored two penalties and conversion. The score was the same for a long time in the second half. In the last 10 minutes, the teams scored penalties and there was 6-point difference again. Though, at the 75th minute, Scottish rugby players scored another penalty and the difference increased up to 9 points. Unfortunately, Georgians could not gain point in the rest of the time and as we lost with more than 7 points, we could not gain premium point. Though, neither Scotland managed to take bonus because the team could not score not 4 but even one try.

Georgian national team will hold the next match against England on September 18.
