Georgia Keeps The Fourth Place after Four Draws

 

 

The central fourth round of round of World Team Chess Championship was held between Georgian and Russian national women’s teams, it finished with draw. In spite of interesting “fight” on all the four boards, none of them managed to win. Four draws and final score was 2:2, which brought more success to the leaders of the tournament- China and India.
The only team which is unbeatable at this tournament is China. In the last round Asians won over Vietnam 3:1 and gained 8 points. India is in the second place with 7 points, they won over Armenians 3.5:0.5. Georgian team is in the fourth place with 5 points. Russia keeps the third place with 6 points. The next round match between Russia and China rises big interest, India plays against Vietnam and as for Georgians, they play against the Greek.  
Nine rounds will be held at World Championship which is underway in the city of Turkey, Mardin. The championship will end up on December 27.
