Head coach of “Batumi XV” was Levan Mgeladze(He was their head coach during Georgian championship). As for ”Lokomotivi” started preparation after deny of Ukrainian club and that’s why had little time for preparation. After lose with Romanians they should win but could not beat “Batumi XV”.
I t is true that “Lokomotivi” advanced at the 3rd minute of the match, but then made mistake and try was scored in their goal. For “Lelo” main thing was not to lose with big point difference and playing in final was guaranteed. But Levan Maisashvili’s tactic was not only defense, they beat Romanian “Bucharest” with big point difference and went through the final suitably. Guests could not score try at the beginning of the match, Kiasashvili scored two standards at the 10th minute. Romanians had chance to shorten point difference with penalty, but they could not kick well, then they made mistake and “Lelo” tried and kicked conversion well. Before the rest Kaisashvili used two penalties and the first half ended 19:0. At the beginning of the second half Georgians scored two tries, kicked conversions well and advanced with 33 points. Who would be winner was quite clear. At the 53th minute Georgians were sin-binned, Romanians used it and scored two tries and two conversions. “Lelo” after 10 minutes of sin-bin scored try, but Joglidze could not kick conversion well. Guests shortened point difference at the 69th minute with try and conversion, but at the end of the match Georgians kicked try again, this time Joglidze scored conversion and showed the final score.
