After the first day there are three leaders in group D at European Championship and among them is Georgian national basketball team. Georgians won over Belgians with 22 points difference and according to the results they are on the first place in top 6.

After the match between Georgian and Belgian national basketball teams, Slovenia played against Bulgaria at “Klaipeda Arena” and managed to beat the rival 67:59. 

 In the last match of the day, Russia won over Ukraine – 73:64. Andrey Kirilenko gained the most points -20 among Russians and Sergey Lischuk 13 points among Ukrainians.
