Georgian National Basketball Team celebrated the first victory while preparing for European Championship. After three failures in a row Georgians won over American colleges’ team with 17 points advantages (98:81).
In the second round of Foursome tournament which is underway in Estonia, Georgian basketball players got advantages in the second and the fourth quarters and won over Americans with solid advantages. In the first quarter 3 minutes and 37 seconds before ending the quarter Georgians were winning 13:6 but Americans managed to mobilize and the first quarter ended with equal points. In the second quarter Georgians played better than their rivals and gained 7-point advantage 49:42.
Georgian team won the third quarter as well, but this time with two points. In return Georgians did their best in the final quarter and beat the rival with 17-point advantages.
Manuchar Markoishvili scored the most points among Georgians and gained 20 points, rebounded 8 and assisted 4.
