Georgian Freestyle Wrestling Team after the first fight has minimum chance of going through the final stage of World Cup, which is underway in the capital of Dagestan, Makhachkala.
 Only Davit Kerashvili (96 kg) and Giorgi Sakandelidze (heavy weight) managed to win.  Kerashvili won over Alborov and Sakandelidze beat Alli Isaev.
Before gaining these two prestige points, Besik Guchashvili (55 kg) lost with Namig Sevdin Zade, Malkhaz Kurdiani (60 kg) – Zalimkhan Huseinov, Shalva Muziashvili (66 kg) – Hagan Suleimanov, Gela Saghirashvili (74 kg) – Aleksander Gosteev, Beka Chelidze (84 kg) – Navruz Temrezov.  Besides Azerbaijan, these are teams of Iran, Cuba and united team of Hungary- Kazakhstan in the group of Georgian team. In the second round, Khurstia- Otarishvili’s sportsmen are to wrestle against Iranian team.
