Georgian beach volleyball pair Geor-Gia (Renato Gomes and Jorge Terceiro) competes quite well at Big Slam, which is underway in the city of Austria, Klagenfurt. Georgin pair went through 1/8 final and as a result 320 rating points are guaranteed for them.
Brazilian Georgians lost the first match of Group O against Chinese pair 1:2 (21:18, 18:21, 22:24) and then beat Germans 2:0 (23:21, 21:14). Finally they managed to take the first place in the group.
 Geor-Gia played decisive match against Latvian duet (Samoilovs-Sorokins, Seed.22) 2:1 (18:21, 21:15, 15:8). Georgian duet managed to win this match and as a result went through 1/8 final, where they will play against Czech duet (Benes-Kubala, Seed.19).
In case of overcoming Czech obstacle, very difficult match is ahead Geor-Gia, because their rival will be No.1 seed (Emanuel-Alison) or No.4 seed (Kunia-Ricardo) Brazilian duet.
