Beach volleyball Georgian pair Geor-Gia (Brazilian volleyball players Renato Gomes and Jorge Terceiro) celebrated only one victory at the second stage of world tour which is underway in Polish Silesia. Geor-Gia earned 120 rating points and 2800 USD.

Geor-Gia which was No.20 seed in the main draw lost to No.13 American duet (Gibb-Rosenthal) 0:2 (14:21, 11:21) in the first round. Then, Georgian Brazilian duet defeated No.4 Swiss pair (Heuscher-Bellaguarda) 2:0 (21:15, 22:20), following another failure – 0:2 (16:21, 12:21) to Norwegian duet (Skarlund-Spinnangr, No.19).

Women’s pair Saka-Rtvelo competed unsuccessfully again. They played in Chinese Sanya. In the main draw, duet of Cristine  Santanna and Andrezza Chagas (No.28) lost to Australian pairs – Cook/Hinchley (No.5) and Bawden/Palmer (No.12) 0:2 (17:21, 19:21) and 0:2 (17:21, 18:21). Saka-Rtvelo earned 60 rating points.

Shanghai Grand Prix will be held in China from April 30 to May 6. Saka-Rtvelo will start participation from the qualifying draw. Geor-Gia will be in the main draw.
