Football club "Zestaponi" continues preparation for spring stage of the 22nd national championship and Cup. The reserve team of "Zestaponi" which is in the 5th place after 2 circles also started training.
On January 14, the main team of "Zestaponi" finished the first stage of the preparation.
Players of Geguchadze started the second stage of the preparation on January 16. Today, some players ran, others trained on a simulator. According to Sergo Putkaradze, press attache of the club, no one has added to the club except 2 Croatian football players (Gruica, Vucemilovic-Grgic).
As for midfielder Zurab Menteshashvili who left Israel, head coach of the club made a short comment about him: "I confirm that we want Menteshashvili to play for our team. Negotiations are held and everything will be found out in the near future".
Official website of the club informs that two test matches are planned to be held before leaving for Spain. On January 17, "Zestaponi" will hold a match and on January 23 the team will play against any Supreme League team from West Georgia.
