Georgian sportswoman Elene Gedevanishvili took the 10th place at World Figure Skating Championship which is underway in the city of France, Nice.
Gedevanishvili earned 58.49 points in short program and took the 7th place. Georgian fans hoped that after free skating 22-year-old sportswoman would have advanced but she earned 90.71 points on the second day of the tournament. Gedevanishvili had 149.20 points and took the 10th place.
Carolina Kostner of Italy won gold medal. She earned 189.94 points. Alena Leonova of Russia took the second place with 184.28 points. Akiko Suzuki of Japan won bronze medal with 180.68 points.
