The third round of the 23rd national football championship made F/C “Gagra” leader. The team of Anatoli Piskovets hosted “Metallurg” Rustavi and beat it 2:0. Levan Sharikadze scored goal in the first half. Ukrainian legionary Volodimir Ordinsk scored the second goal at the 69th minute.
Another match was held in Zugdidi where “Baia” and “Kolkheti” Poti played against each other. The hosts advanced at the second minute by the autogoal of Vaja Lomashvili. At the end of the match, 16-year-old Avtandil Endeladze increased advantage of his team – 2:0.
As for other two matches of the round, teams could not score goals in them. Both matches in Mtskheta ended up with scoreless draw – “Wit Georgia” Tbilisi could not beat “Merani”, “Spartak” Tskhinvali and “Sioni” Bolnisi earned one point.

After 4 rounds two outsider clubs fall down in first league in XXIII Championship. An the club which will win the 8th place will play against the third place-owner and in case of win will remain in the first league.
Clubs which will take the 16th and the 17th places will leave First League. These clubs will be replaced by winners in West and East zones of Second League.
