Future of Georgian Sambo will be Defined in Bucharest

 

Georgian cadet and youth sambo teams left for Romania. Since today till April 9, Bucharest hosts European Sambo Championship and 10-10 sportsmen from both of these age teams will participate in this tournament. Coaches chose the sportsmen for the main staff according to the results of Georgian championship.

 “Teams were staffed according to the results of Georgian championship. After finishing championship, they did well in preparation process too and it goes without saying that we expect good results from them”-told Soso Liparteliani newly elected president of Georgian Sambo Federation to “World Sport”. It has already been decided that after European championship, new coaches will be appointed for age and national teams.
