The final result of the match between “Metallurg” Rustavi and “Rennais” shows the difference between the following clubs (2:5). Georgians were playing in free way but the French were playing better in tactic and were physically stronger. “Metallurg” played more than hour with 10 players and it became more difficult to show the relevant resistance to “Rennais”. As for French club, it looked quite well but the most distinguished were Boukari, Pitroipa, Brahimi and Feret.

By the way the match started with attack of “Metallurg” – Irakli Kobalia assisted to Modebadze, who entered in the penalty area and kicked, but without any result. At the 10^th minutes Boukari crashed to Bediashvili with back and referee had to show yellow card to him in any case but he did not, in spite of this Boukari could not kick well. At the 12nd minute Irakli Modebadze kicked from the far distance, he kicked very well but not very well. In some minutes Boukari started to attack he passed two rivals, assisted to Feret – Bediashvili could not catch the ball but French midfielder also could not manage to score. At the 17^th minute Boukari kicked in direction of the goal, Bediashvili made mistake and finally Boukari scored. In one minute after scoring, Bediashvili dropped the ball on the ground by mistake, but fortunately none of French player was there. At the 28^th minute Murvelashvili fall Brahimi down as a result the referee settled penalty kick and showed red card to Georgian defender.

It must be mentioned that in this episode Murvelashvili and Bediashvili crashes each other and injured slightly. Boukari kicked the penalty kick and Bediashvili parried the ball out. But soon Boukari corrected his mistake and after assisting Feret he scored the second times. At the 41^st minute Japaraidze scored very beautiful goal approximately in 25 meter distance. The French answered Georgians very soon and Pitroipa scored an efficient goal.

While time-outing Bediashvili who was injured asked for substitution and Zuran Batiashvili replaced him. The French had the same temp in the second half too and scored two more goals. At the 50^th minute Luka Razmadze lost the ball near to his penalty area and as a result was settled standard kick. Feret scored the goal. At the 55^th minute Modebadze and Maisuradze started attack, but Mangane stopped Modebadze with prohibited way. That’s why penalty kick was settled and Razmadze scored. At the 70^th minute Patroipa set “mini performance” which finally ended with goal.

At the end of the match Montano tried to score twice but Batiashvili played convincingly. As for “Metallurg”, Irakli Kobalia kicked from very close distance and Tettey parried it out.

While discussing this match it must be said that during the match only one board was working, which has not happened at any international match. The reason of it is an obscure.

Armaz Jeladze:What can I say? It is too difficult to play against such clubs. Between preparation levels there is big difference. “Rennais” is very strong club and we develop with playing against such clubs. We will try to show all our potential in the responsive match”.

Frederic Antonetti: It happened the first time that we played in high level during the 90^th minute. Before this match we used to play well only in 60 minutes. Hot weather was bothering us but in spite of this we showed quite well result. If Georgian soccer player were not shown red card the match would be more difficult, but at this time we had advantages”.
