On February 19-20, Batumi will host Georgian Youth Freestyle Wrestling Championship. On the first day of the championship, champions and prize winners will be found out in 4 weight classes – 50, 55, 60 and 66 kg and on the second day - in 74, 84, 96 and 120 kg.

“Today in the evening, wrestlers of 4 weight classes will weigh. The first stage matches will start at 11:00. Opening ceremony will be held at 17:00 and then final matches will take place. Teams from all Georgian regions will participate in the championship. I cannot say if any member of youth team has injury. According to the decision of the federation, world champion Vladimir Khinchegashvili is allowed to rest” – Malkhaz Jorbenadze, general secretary of Wrestling Federation, stated to “World Sport”.
