Four Georgian tennis players will play in 1/8 final of the Yerevan tournament (Armenia, 25 000 USD). We have already written about success of Ani Gogvadze. Natia Gegia, Sofia Shapatava and Tatia Mikadze also gained success.

Gogvadze beat compatriot Tamar Chalaghanidze 6:4, 6:2 and will play against Irina Buryachok of Ukraine in the second round. No.4 seed Sofia Shapatava defeated Anna Shkudun of Ukraine 6:3, 6:4 and will play against Anastasia Grymalska of Italy in 1/8 final.

Gegia won over Lidziya Marozava of Belarus 6:1, 6:4 and will play against Lesia Tsurenko of Ukraine.

Julia Cohen of America will be opponent of Tatia Mikadze. Cohen beat Ekaterine Gorgodze 6:4, 6:1. Tatia defeated Maria Sakkari of Greece 6:1, 6:2.

In ¼ final of double tournament, Mikadze and Shapatava will play against Bulgakova and Marozava. Gegia and Amiraghyan of Armenia will play against Cohen and Koch-Benvenuto of Chile.
