After seven rounds of First League, two chess players are leading Georgian Women’s 69th Championship. Sophiko Guramishvili (2374) and Nino Batsiashvili (2421) earned 6-6 points and are sharing the first-second places.
In the previous round, Guramishvili played draw against Inga Charkhalashvili (2331) with black pieces. Batsiashvili defeated Tamar Khmiadashvili (2166) with white pieces. The following participants have 5-5 points: Sophio Gvetadze (2324), Charkhalashvili, Maka Purtseladze (2363), Miranda Mikadze (2329) and Salome Khazhomia (2128).
In the eighth round, Purtseladze will play against Batsiashvili, Guramishvili – against Mikadze and Gvetadze – against Charkhalashvili.
Nine rounds will be held at the tournament and it will end up on December 10. 41 chess players are participating in the tournament and five of them will get places in Supreme League.
