Today at Tbilisi Sport Palace was started Georgian Judo Championship and finalists were found out in three weight categories – 60, 66 and 73 kg.
Davit Asumbani and Betkil Shukvani will fight for championship in 60 weight category, but Betkil Shukvani injured in fight with Paata Merabishvili and his competition is under question mark in final match. Merabishvili was disqualified in this match, that’s why Merabishvili cannot fight in repechage. Vaja Margvelashvili won bronze medal, for the second bronze medal Tristan Feikrishvili and Valei Laperishvili will fight.
Shalva Kardava and Giorgi Shoshiashvili will fight for championship in 66 weight category. Zurab Kuchmazovi will fight against Sandro Iakobishvili amd Andro Beriashvili against Levan Chubinidze. Tengiz Paposhvili and Zurab Nozadze will fight for golden medal in 73 weight category. Zebeda Rekhviashvili- Zviad Bazandarishvili. Ambako Avaliani- Davit Koberidze are couples who fight for bronze medals.
Final matches will be held at 17:00 and Public Broadcasting will offer LIVE of these fights.
