Federation Summarizes 2011 at "Mikheil Meskhi"

Georgian football federation summed up 2011 at stadium name after Mikheil Meskhi. Besides organizers of this event, reps of media and other invited guests also attended this press-conference.
Tatia Burduli assistant of Domenti Sichinava president of GFF talked about infrastructural projects which was underway this year and which are planned to be done next year.
According to her, federation spent 360 000 EUR on making natural lawn in technical centre “Basa” and for making interior for this building 134359 EUR. Besides this was made field with an artificial lawn and was built new building. In total, for infrastructure of ‘Basa” was spent 3089894 EUR. For changing lawn in stadium named after Mikheil Meskhi which was given to GFF on a loan for 49 years was spent 315758 EUR and in total GFF spent 766906 EUR for infrastructure of this stadium.

This year federation started refurbishment works in Lagodekhi base and for this moment 177800 EUR is spent.
In 2012 GFF is to make roofs for tribunes at “Saba”, new changing rooms, parking place, installation of new simulators. 368750 ERU is allocated for this.

Next year media centre will be opened at “Mikheil Mskhi”, will be opened two parking places – open and closed, completely will be changed the sewage system, will be done all the necessary works for according to modern standards. In total it needs 2453149 EUR. In addition, the database will be fully rehabilitated in Kakheti and 1968000 EUR is allocated for this. According to Burduli, changing lawns in Goori, Poti and Kobuleti is astimated in 1045000 EUR.
Sichinava named the most important events of the year going through the elite round of European championships by U-17 and U-19 teams and joining UEFA convention by Georgian referees. He also said that next year Temur Ketsbaia head coach of national team is to give press-conference and federation represents mass-media new press-speaker too.
Lasha Silagava FIFA referee gave to journalists who have passed license courses awarded with C category licenses, which give them right work in children’s football and amateur teams too. By the way, women also were among these journalists.  
As Burduli stated, according to the survey made on federation’s web-site, fans named Davit Targamadze as the best legionary. This following football player could not attend press-conference, because he had left for Donetsk for solving transfer issues.
Assistant of president of GFF also mentioned that Jaba Dvali is leader of survey still ongoing of the mentioned web-site, which is for finding out the best player of Georgian championship. Dvali was awarded before the ending of this survey because others did not have any theoretical chance of overtaking him.
 Georgian football federation named the best journalists of 2011 year and one of them was from “World Sport” – author of this article, Merab Mamulashvili of “Lelo”, Davit Minashvili –GPB, Dimitri Oboladze – “Rustavi 2”. Federation awarded them with memorable presents.
