Hatsu Basho the first Super tournament of a year became “black tournament” for Georgian Sumo wrestlers.
Levan Tsaguria 23-year-old Georgian Sumo wrestler has the worst results in compare with other wrestlers. He lost all the five fights. Tsaguria the same Tochinohshini who competes as Maegashira #2 lost with Baruto of Estonia this time. During fighting against Baltic Ozeki Gorgadze has serious advantages, but in spite of this he lost.
Only Levan Tsaguria a pioneer of Georgian Sumo has one won fight. Tsaguaria the same Kokai competes at the tournament as Maegashira #15 lost with Maegashira #17 Toiozakura.
Teimuraz Jugheli the heaviest sportsman of Makuuchi (198 kg) competes at Hatsu Basho as West Maegashira #6 lost with Goedio Maegashira #6. Jugheli has two victories and 3 lost fights, he has the best result among Georgian wrestlers.
On the 6th day of Hatsu Bashp the rival of Tochinoshini is Ozeki Kotoshu. Georgian wrestler beat him twice in May and July. In January, September and November Georgian wrestler lost with him. Kokai will fight against Toiohibik Maegashira #15. Last year Japanese sportsman won over Georgian wrestler. As for Gagamaru, he will wrestle against Mongolian Maegashira #8 Tokitenku. In November he lost with him.
Traditionally Hatsu Basho lasts for 15 days and it has three leaders- Oiokuzuna Hakuho, Vakanosato Maegashira #9 and Tochinonada Maegashira 16.
