Georgian Nana Dzagnidze celebrated the first victory at 1st Hangzhou Women Grand Master Chess Tournament which is underway in the city f China, Hangzhou.
In the fourth round, Dzagnidze (2537) beat American Anna Zatonskikhy (2522) with white pieces, earned 1,5 points and improved the tournament situation – she is in the 8th place.
Chinese Venzhun Zhu (2515) is leading the tournament. She beat Xue Zhao (2470) with black pieces and earned 3,5 points.
Other three games of the fourth round ended up with draw: Nadezhda Kosintseva (Russia, 2560) – Tatiana Kosintseva (Russia, 2557) 0,5:0,5; Yifan Hou (China, 2575) – Chen Zhu (Qatar, 2485) 0,5:0,5; Marie Sebag (France, 2510) – Dronavalli Harika (India, 2513) 0,5:0,5.

The following players will play against each other in the fifth round: Harika – Dzagnidze, Chen Zhu – Sebag, Tatiana Kosintseva – Hou, Venzhun Zhu – Nadezhda Kosintseva, Zatonskikhy – Zhao.
Nine rounds will be held at the Hangzhou tournament and it will end up on July 23. Winner will gain 5 000 USD, the second-placed will gain 4 000 USD and the third-placed – 2 000 USD.
