Georgian top seed Anna Tatishvili started competition with victory at international tournament which is underway in the city of Mexico, Albuquerque (prize money 75 000 $). She is No.1 seed at the tournament and won over Portuguese Michelel Larcher De Brito 7:6 (7:4), 6:2.  
In 1/8 final she plays against French Irena Pavlovic, who was No.187 seed in WTA raking about an year ago. Now, she is No.263 seed. Irena turns 23 on September 28. As for 21-year-old Tatishvili she is No.96 seed in WTA world ranking.
In double tournament Georgian tennis player and American Jame Hamton (No.3 seed) won over Americans (Davis-Meichar) 6:3, 6:4 and went through the quarter final, where they will play against one of the duets (Minnie-Odin).
