“Dinamo” Tbilisi presented 9 new football players at Digomi training base. Kakha Kacharava, head coach of the club, held a press conference before the resumption of the championship.

Giga Gventsadze, press-attache of “Dinamo”, organized the meeting of coaches and players with masmedia.

Managing director Giorgi Tkavadze, sports director Murtaz Shelia and technical director Mikheil Jishkariani participated in press conference.

A 23-year-old midfielder Zurab Arziani will play for “Dinamo” on loan with No.55 jersey till the end of the season.

A 27-year-old forward Dimitri Tatanashvili has signed a 2 year and 6 month- contract with the club. He will play with No.18 jersey.

A 18-year-old Nika Kvekveskiri who plays in midfield, has signed a 5-year contract with “Dinamo”. He will play with No.30 jersey.

A 27-year-old defender Giorgi Tsimakuridze who can play on wing and in the center, has singed a one year and 6-month contract with “Dinamo”. He got No.28 jersey.

A 20-year-old goalkeeper Tornike Zarkua will play with No.32 jersey. He has signed a 5-year contract with “Dinamo”.

A 24-year-old Bosnian forward Petar Yelich will play for “Dinamo” on loan till the end of the season. He will play with No.10 jersey. Kacharava explained him who important is No.10 jersey for “Dinamo” and the whole Georgian football.

A 30-year-old Czech central defender Jiri Homola will stay in “Dinamo” for one year and half. He will play with No.4 jersey.

A 24-year-old Serbian midfielder Semir Hajibulic has signed a 3 year and half contract with “Dinamo”. He will play with No.26 jersey.

A 28-year-old Serbian left defender Marko Marovic has signed a 2 year and 6 month contract with “Dinamo”. He will play with No.14 jersey.

Kakha Kacharava: “We started preparation on January 3. We held the selection but we have not finished yet. We held meeting in Antalya. Also, we held 5 friendly matches. We saw how these players can play. These players played in Russian Premier League, Serbia and Czech Republic. After leaving Cup, we had only one goal – we will fight for the championship”.

- Levan Khmaladze was tested in “Zarya” Lugansk and he returned to Georgia. Will he play in “Dinamo” again?

- Khmaladze has signed contract with us. We agreed that he would leave and we would not prevent him from doing it. Khmaladze will play in “Dinamo” again. I want to say, that no player from “Dinamo” will be tested in other teams. If anyone wants to leave, it will be his will.

- Did the players manage to get used to each other?

- We believe in these boys. We have just finished forming the club. Everything will get better little by little.

- Which club do you consider as your opponent at the championship?

- All of them are our opponents. I cannot name one.

- We should expect a serious competition in “Dinamo”…

- It is great when you have 22 equal players in the club. We want to have the same situation in “Dinamo”.

- You mentioned, that the club continues the selection.

- Negotiations with Teimuraz Gongadze, defender of “Olimpi” Rustavi, have ended up. He will play for “Dinamo”. Besides that, Slovenian midfielder Borut Semler is tested in our club.

- So, is “Dinamo” preparing for European Cup?

- Now, we are preparing for the match against “Spartaki” Tskhinvali.

At the press conference, Dimitri Tatanashvili mentioned that new players knew about their responsibilities and they would do their best not to disgrace “Dinamo”. To the question how “Dinamo” was going to return fans to the stadium, Giga Gventsadze answered: “We will hold activities for it”.

Giorgi Tkavadze: “These players show what direction “Dinamo” has chosen. Surface of the fields is planned to be changed at “Dinamo” base. “Dinamo” football academy should develop. The club will have all conditions for it. Reconstruction of the base will be finished by the end of the season. It will be one of the best bases in South Caucasus”.
