Draw must have been the most logical result. Though, "Dinamo" was winning during the whole match but "Olimpi" should have used its advantage. It was the second match where "Olimpi" saved the team at the last minutes of the match - they scored against "Spartaki" in Gori and against "Dinamo" at the national stadium.
It was central match of the round. "Zestaponi" could not have won its match. So, winner between "Dinamo" and "Olimpi" would have become a leader.
At the 17th minute, the hosts scored a goal. Mate Vatsadze assisted to Irakli Lekvtadze who kicked the ball and scored it.
Defence of "Olimpi" looked quite confused and at the 26th minute, Vatsadze almost scored a goal. Chanturia parried the ball.
At the last minutes of the half, "Olimpi" played actively. Irakli Modebadze tried to score a goal from 5 meters but he kicked weakly and Giorgi Loria caught the ball easily. Before that, Bolkvadze missed a free kick.
After exchanging the goals, "Olimpi" did not attack fast but it lasted only several minutes. It seemed, that "Dinamo" was thinking much about keeping the score. First Luka Razmadze missed the ball from a close distance. Then Revaz Getsadze shot from a long distance but Loria parried the ball.
Brazilian player Robertinho ("Dinamo") did not play well. Lekvtadze looked tired after the first half. But at the 77th minute, Lekvtadze had a chance to score the second goal. After the assist of Levan Kakubava (he was one of the best players of the match), Lekvtadze missed the ball. At this moment Chanturia crashed into Lekvtadze and doctor was to be called in.
"Olimpi" managed to score a goal at the first minute of the added time and the match finished - 1:1.
