Three matches were held in the fifth round of XXIII National football championship and in each match guests managed to win. Surprising was failure of “Gagra”, which won three matches in a row at this championship. This time “Kokheti” managed to beat “Gagra”. Data Sichinava former player of “Kolkheti” scored at the 17th minute. In ten minutes Omar Gogonaia equalized and at the end of the first half Paata Tskhvitaria scored and as a result of it, guests advanced. Finally “Kolheti” won this match 2:1. A very dramatically match was held between “Dila” Gori and “Dinamo” Tbilisi in Gori.Irakli Lekvetadze scored in the first half and guests advanced. 2 minutes before ending the match, Pavle Khorguashvili equalized, but at the same minute Spanish Alvaro scored decisive goal and “Dinamo” won the match – 2:1.
More impressive was the match held in Mtskheta between “Wit-Georgia” and “Metalurg” Rustavi. Dimitry Tatanashvili scored double in this match and finally “Metalurg” gained 3 points – 2:0.
Today two matches will be held. At this moment the match is underway between “Torpedo” Kutaisi and “Sioni” Bolnisi in Kutaisi. At 20 o’clock “Zestaponi” hosts “Merani” Martvili in Zseatponi. Tomorrow, “Spartaki” Tskhinvali hosts “Baia” Zugdidi at the stadium named after Mkheil Meskhi.

After 4 rounds two outsider clubs fall down in first league in XXIII Championship. An the club which will win the 8th place will play against the third place-owner and in case of win will remain in the first league.
Clubs which will take the 16th and the 17th places will leave First League. These clubs will be replaced by winners in West and East zones of Second League.
