Guillermo Diaz, legionary from Puerto Rico, will join “Armia”, current champion of Super League and leader of the current championship, at the end of January, before the start of II round of XXI national championship.

Kote Tugushi, head coach of “Armia”, informed “World Sport” with this information.

Diaz is in Italy now and is treating injured left knee. So, he will not be able to participate in Zurab Sakandelidze-Mikheil Korkia Memorial.

American legionaries have already joined “Armia” – Jeremy Richardson, William Thomas and Benjamin Woodside. They were in their homelands in winter holidays.

Guillermo was injured while playing against “Gotingen” (Germany) in the fourth round of EuroChallenge Cup.

“Armia” will play at Zurab Sakandelidze-Mikheil Korkia Memorial on January 16-20. “Armia” is in Group A with GTU and “Dinamo”.
