Tornike Shengelia was named as the best player of Division B of European U-20 Basketball Championship which ended up in Bosnia. Leader of our team was rewarded with prize. Tornike deserved this recognition. He held 9 matches in Sarajevo. Tornike made double doubles in 7 matches. He became top scorer with average point - 30. According to the average index of rebounds (12), he is only behind Danish Ionas Bergstedt (13,5).
