Davit Targamadze, midfielder of “Oleksandria”, had debut in Georgian national U-21 team against Poland. He played quite well and Georgian mass-media also mentioned it. In this season Targamadze plays quite for “Oleksandria” and calling up Targamadze against Poland was not surprising.  But in any case calling up was unexpected for Targamadze, which he mentioned in a talk with “World Sport”.

- How much satisfied are you with debut?

 - Probably it was normal debut. Before the match guys were supporting me, because they knew that it was the first match for me. It was big stimulus for me.

- Did you expect that you will be called up for this match and would be in the main staff?

 - When Georgian football federation called me and I was told that I was in broaden staff, I was very happy. I hoped that I would be taken to Poland. But I was not expecting that I would be in the main staff. I was expecting that I would play in the second half. When Temur Ketsbaia stated in the changing room that I was in the main staff I was very happy, it was a big motivation.

- How “Oleksandria” reacted on this fact?

 - It was the first time when player from “Oleksandria” was called up for national team. By the way this fact made everyone happy in the team.

- What instruction did Ketsbaia give you?

 -  Otar Martsvaladze and I were instructed to create offense and help defenders too.

- In one episode you were face to face to goalkeeper of your opponent, but you did not use this chance.

 - When Grigalashvili assisted me I was running and looking at only ball, I could not kick the ball unstoppably. I stopped and it was enough for the goalkeeper, who was near me and did not let kick.

- According to the match Georgian national team deserved draw…

 - We had several chances in the first as well as in the second half. In the first half I scored goal and it was offside.  In the second half Martsvaladze had chance of scoring but Polish goalkeeper managed to parry out very difficult kick. He is really good goalkeeper and played well against us.

- What did Ketsbaia tell you after the match, in the dressing room? He stated that he was satisfied with Georgian national team at the press-conference.

 - Ketsbaia told us that he was satisfied because of our determination.

- Do you hope that Ketsbaia will give chance again?

 - First of all I want to thank Temur Ketsbaia that he gave me chance of playing for National Team. I hope that he will call me up for the next match.
