Davit Mujiri to Ketsbaia:" Maybe It is Better due to Your Many Mistakes to Feel Responsibility over Squandered 90 %?"

Davit Mujiri 33-year-old Georgian midfielder of Japanese “Sanfrecce Hiroshima” has sent another open letter. You are supposed to know, that “Mumu” criticized working of Temur Ketsbaia head coach of Georgian national team three weeks ago. In response Temur Ketsbaia sharply talked by TV.

No need to repeat Ketsbaia’s statement about Mujiri, because he talks about it in his letter…

One more thing: ”World Sport” has a neutral position and does not have any moral right not to publish Mujiri’s letter and not to respect his opinion. We will do the same for the second side, if they want to show their position..

Mujiri’s letter:
"On November 7, Temur Ketsbaia head coach of Georgian national team was invited in special program “Football Review” and he had to answer all the questions asked by sport journalists, who were invited at GPB.  So called press-conference was held in monolog regime, respondent did not gave concrete answers to journalists’ questions, he abased those people who have opposite opinions, that’s why I decided to respond Mr. Temur with open letter:
I am ready to participate in any discussion held in an objective environment at any TV channel at any time.
Head coach calls up those players, who are considered as useful players and he does not take responsibility on himself. Head coach is not obliged to call up those players, even me, if he considers that he will not help team.
To my opinion, any player should love his homeland and want to play for national team so much, that if he does not have chance of it, he should be unhappy due to it.  Unfortunately, my statement that I am unhappy because I could not help national team was heard in wrong way by some people and personal offence was considered as the reason of my first letter.  Of course it is not true.
Mr. Temur you have to forget doubts as if somebody makes me write this and you should think about problem. You as head coach are considered as face of Georgian football and you should not express your opinion in such way. When you calumniate me you have to use convincing arguments.
You have mentioned, as if I touched you as person in my first letter. It was not my goal and you cannot find out anything which offence your personality in my letter. In my opinion, the problem is that you think that critic and different point of view is offence. It goes without saying that I respect you as a football player. But it does not mean, that you as head coach has right politic in developing of national team and I do not have right to express my different opinion about you. Mr. Temur you only talk about what and who made me write my first letter.  It seems as strategic step, because you do not like asked questions in my letter and try to make these problems as secondary. Mujiri is not against you! He criticizes managing methods of the team and sets arguments for showing how none-prospective are they. Why do you think, that I do not love my homeland and sphere where I have been working for whole my life and I do not right to express my opinion?
Do not you think that with your statement that I could not play football you offended not only me but other soccer player too? You were a soccer player and you should respect your colleagues more. There are a lot of soccer players in Georgia. Each of them works and tries to play better, to be in better club, to make successful career and to do favor for their homeland and they families. Why do you think, that soccer players who did not create as successful career as you did, are neither football players nor persons, do not we have right to express our different opinion?
In Georgian national team are players who have more successful career in club and national team than you, but now they are under your ruling. According to your standards they should not follow your instructions and should not respect your opinion. I know all of them and I am sure that they have other criterions in estimating person in comparison with you and fortunately, none of them behave in such unworthy way!
According to your logic, you do not have right to reprimand those player who brought the most success Georgian football in 1981. But I remember how you reprimanded representatives of this generation, who are not in managing staff of federation now. If they are such good for nothing (because they did not express their opinion when it was necessary) you should criticize those reps from this generation too, who are for football federation. You also can reprimand yourself as veteran player. It seems that your opinion and attitude changes according to situation – you criticize old generation due to doing nothing and offence me for daring express my different opinion. I would be right if my opinion would be the same you have? I cannot agree with you.
Hiroshima, where I was during the earthquake is 1300 kilometers far from epicenter. The fact that I could not feel earthquake as 120 0000 residents of Georgia, does not give you right to talk about me cynically in LIVE. This is not really connected to those problems, what I talk about and you prevent yourself to answer.
You also prevented yourself to make any comment about Gogita Gogua, who stated in an interview that he left meeting due to your offence. You deny conflict and use your common variant to state that you do not make comments about gossips. But this concrete fact cannot be called gossip, because Gogua talks about it himself. Who lies? Ketsbaia or Gogua? Or Mr. Domenti Sichinava, who mentioned in TV interview that offended Gogua was screaming to Ketsbaia. It is fact that this conflict is true and that’s why you try to prevent yourself to talk about it. Unfortunately, there were any journalists in studio who would demand you answer all the questions. Either them or fans wonder your answers but in spite of that it seems that they prevent themselves to ask questions to heated respondent.
“We played the best match against Latvia in these ten years”- you stated it several times. To my mind such estimation of this match is shameful, but in spite of this I will not start arguing you, because taste differs. I just remind you your comment made at the press-conference after this match:” we need football players not a psychologist”.
Mr. Temur, you chose these players, you call up and you have to achieve your goals with them ad it is not desirable to say that you need football players in public way. You state it after such match when you assure everyone that – it is the best match of these ten years… each player who plays for national team feels responsibility, they come and do their best for desirable result. But you have to make maximum comfort for them and you should care them to feel as necessary players for national team, they have to be psychologically ready for each match for achieving positive result. To my mind it is impossible if there is not bilateral respect. Would you feel comfortable if any of your players stated such type comment:” we do not have such head coach for playing at European championship”?
For Georgian fans it is very painful, when those teams which have less potential than Georgian national team, have better results as a result of using their resources. None of person who knows football well can clap hands for better result than Cooper had. Cooper used only 5% of national team and that’s why he was released. As for you, you used 10% of recourses and have better result than he had and that’s why you consider yourself as successful. Maybe it is better to feel your responsibility over squandered 90%, do not consider the fifth place as successful result and give more optimism to Georgian fans.
None one should prevent himself to express his opinion, it was mentioned in this following program that telling truth does not have definite time, it must be said at any time no matter you are current or veteran player, sport journalist, rep of federation or just fan. I, Georgian football player Davit Mujiri and fan of my country believe and think that each of us have to do our best for success of Georgian football!”
