Today through Sunday, Georgian Greco-Roman wrestling team will participate in the tournament named after Nikola Petrov. The tournament will be held in the city of Bulgaria, Burgas. Begi Darchia, head coach of Georgian Greco-Roman wrestling team, had decided to take the best candidates to the tournament but because of injuries some wrestlers will not be able to compete in it. Revaz Lashkhi (60 kg), Manuchar Tskhadaia and Genadi Gogishvili (both 74 kg) could not leave for Bulgaria because of injuries.

After arriving from Bulgaria, Darchia will name those wrestlers who will participate in Dortmund European Championship. The championship will be held on April 2-3. Here is the list for Bulgaria: 55 kg – Lasha Gogitadze, 66 kg – Anton Mamageishvili and Archil Turmanidze, 74 kg – Manuchar Kvirkvelia, 84 kg – Vladimir Gegeshidze, 96 kg – Soso Jabidze and Sandro Dikhaminjia, 120 kg – Dimitri Javakhishvili.

Today, winners will be found out in 74 and 96 kg, tomorrow – in 60, 84 and 120 kg and the day after tomorrow – in 55 and 66 kg.
