Another Tbilisi "Clasico" will be held in Rustavi. "Wit Georgia" is main opponent of "Dinamo".
Regional derby is expected in Poti where local team and Zugdidi team have not played since October 31, 1998 (the host won 5:1).
Other two matches of the 17th round will be hosted by Imereti region - "Zestaponi" will host "Sioni" and "Torpedo" - "Spartaki" Tskhinvali.

Perhaps, Rustavi will host Tbilisi derby for the last time. Artificial turf pitch of "Wit Georgia" is almost ready in Mtskheta and the team will hold home matches there from the next year.
In spite of that "Veterinaries" are not holding their best season, their match against "Dinamo" is always interesting. After beating "Torpedo" 1:0 they are in a good mood. They also won over "Spartaki" 2:1 in the 1/4 final of Cup. Spectators and "Dinamo" are expecting an interesting match from "Wit Georgia".
These teams have played against each other for 40 times and winning balance is in the favor of "Dinamo" - 13:11 (ball difference - 44:35 in the favor of "Dinamo").

In the last season, "Samtredia" won over all teams which were playing in Supreme League. "Samtredia" beat "Dinamo" Tbilisi and "Wit Georgia" twice but the team has never beat "Olimpi".
After losing 0:7 against "Zestaponi", head coach of "Samtredia" Gela Sanaia stated - it is important to forget this loss as soon as possible and to think about the match against "Olimpi". The club president Zaza Adeishvili talked about putting out this match because of financial crisis and perhaps, it was just a trick to slacken the opponent.
"Sanavardo", "Lokomotive", "Iberia" and "Samtredia" from Samtredia and "Gorda", "Metalurgi", "Gorda-2000" and "Olimpi" from Rustavi played in Supreme League. Samtredia teams and Rustavi teams have played 26 matches against each other. Samtredia won 4 times and Rustavi - 15 times. Ball difference is 48:18 in the favor of Rustavi.

These teams have not won for a long time. Poti has not won in the second round and the last time "Baia" won was against "Wit Georgia" 1:0 on October 23.
It is known that "Kolkheti-1913" represented Poti in Supreme League. As for Zugdidi, "Odishi", "Dinamo", "Mglebi" and "Baia" played in the name of this city in Supreme League. Poti teams and Zugdidi teams held 20 matches against each other. Poti won 12 matches, Zugdidi - 4 matches (ball difference 42:22). It is worth mentioning, that the last time match between "Kolkheti-1913" and "Odishi" finished draw in 1992/1993 season.

"Sioni" has not scored a goal after beating "Spartaki" 2:0 a month ago. As for "Zestaponi", this team scores a lot of goals. Tsinamdzgvrishvili (8), Gelashvili (7) and Dvali (5) scored 20 from 32 goals.
These teams held 18 matches against each other. "Zestaponi" won 10 matches and "Sioni" - 3 matches.

Torpedo (Kutaisi) - Spartaki (Tskhinvali) (first circle - 2:1)

The first round match of these teams turned out historical. After returning to Supreme League, "Torpedo" won the first match against "Spartaki" (2:1). Gia Gigaradze had a debut in this match as a head coach.
After beating "Spartaki", "Torpedo" held other unbeaten 7 matches and lost against "Wit Georgia" 0:1.
"Spartaki" also lost against "Wit Georgia" but in the 1/4 final of Cup (1:2).
These teams are playing against each other for the 5th time. "Torpedo" won 3 matches and played one draw (balls 12:2). These teams played last time in Kutaisi on April 19, 2006. The hosts won 4:1.

After 4 rounds two outsider clubs fall down in first league in XXIII Championship. An the club which will win the 8th place will play against the third place-owner and in case of win will remain in the first league.
Clubs which will take the 16th and the 17th places will leave First League. These clubs will be replaced by winners in West and East zones of Second League.
