At the 5th round of current FIDE Grand Prix Georgian chess player Maia Chiburdanidze was defeated twice in the capital city of Mongolia, Ulaanbaatar. She replaced in the 6th place with 3 points.
Against Indian Humpy Kuneru, who has the highest rating in this tournament Maia Chiburdanidze played with black pieces. She was playing well, but beside this she lost the 6th round at the 108 move.
The leader of Ulaanbaatar tournament became Chinese Xue Zhao, who beat her competitor Antuana Stepanova with white pieces collected 5 points. Her compatriot Yifan Hou and Kuneru have 4.5 points.
At the 7th round Georgian legend chess player with white pieces will play against French chess player Mari Sebag, who has drawn 3 times. French player is in the 11th place with 1.5 points.
We remind you, that according to the previous results, at the first place of Grand Prix is Nana Dzagnidze with 390 points. She participated in three tournaments (Chiburdanidze’s point is only 85).In three rounds Hou also has 320 points and as for Kosintseva (she refused to play at the last stage) collected 290 points in two stages. Hou and Kosintseva are playing last stage in Mongolia and have the last chance to overtake Dzagnidze. Nana Dzagnidze will have chance to collect more scores in the tournament which will be held in Chile.
All participants of Grand Prix play 4 tournaments and show the best 3 results. Winner chess player of total points will win a right to participate at the World Championship in the last quarter of 2011.
August 8 is the day-off at Grand Prix and the last 11th round will be held on August 11. Prize of each tournament is 40 000 EUR. Points and money will be divided by places the following way:
I place: 120 + bonus 40 points, 6 500 EUR
II place: 110 points + bonus 20, 4 750
III place: 100 points + bonus 10, 4 000
IV place: 90 points 3 750
V place: 80 points, 3 500
VI place: 70 points, 3 250
VII place: 60 points, 3 000
VIII place: 50 points, 2 750
IX place: 40 points, 2 500
X place: 30 points, 2 250
XI place: 20 points, 2 000
XII place: 10 points, 1 750
The best 9 participants according to six rounds of Grand Prix will be rewarded the following way:

II place: 10 000
III place: 8 000
IV place: 7 000
V place: 6 000
VI place: 5 000
