Greco-Roman wrestlers will hold Georgian Championship 2011 with renovated rules. According to the decision of Georgian Wrestling Federation, perhaps one minute will be added to a period. It will happen if any wrestler has even one point. If one minute and half passes without point, then parter rule will come into force.

Perhaps, the federation will legitimize this change next spring.  The reason is to improve spectacular side of wrestling.

Here is one possible innovation which is talked much in FILA. Perhaps, wrestler who gains 5 points will be declared as a winner straight away. However, Georgian Wrestling Federation refrains from testing this rule.

One change will be made in freestyle wrestling before London Olympic Games. In case of ending up a period with draw, sportsman takes a ball from a special lototron. Wrestler whose color ball will be taken out is declared as a winner. This rule remains the same but with one change. After taking the ball out, it will not be returned to the lototron. So, instead of two-two red and one ball, two red and one blue ball will be there. It will reduce probability of color recurrence.
