At the international tournament (prize money 100 000 USD) which is being held in the city of Italy, Biella, N. 3rd Maka Chakhnashvili could not go through the main wrap. She could not win the last round and will play in pairs’ tournament.
Maka Chaknashvili faced off to compatriot Sopho Kvatsbaia in the second round and beat her 6:3, 6:4. But she lost in the 3rd round against Yasmina Tinjic of Croatia 3:6, 4:6.
In pairs tournament Sopho Shapatava and Shamayko of Russia face off to Slovanian-French duet (Klepec - Vediy), as for Chakhnashvili she will play with Domachowska against Savinikh of Russia and Vogt of Liechtenstein.
In a 25-000 tournament in the city of Poland, Katowice, Georgian Oksana Kalashnikova became number 1 player of the tournament. In the first round Kalashnikova will play against German Kim-Alice Grajdek (invited by "Wild Card"). In pairs tournament Kalashnikova with Ukrainian Arefieva beat Polish players - Domagala and Zagorska 6:4, 6:3 and will play against Slovak duet (Luknarova-Pochabova) in the semi quarter.
