Tornike Shengelia spent a little time in NBA D-League. “Brooklyn Nets” sent the Georgian forward and American Tyshawn Taylor in “Springfield Armor” on loan. After their perfect play, the team decided to return them. According to Billy King, general manager of “Nets”, Shengelia and Taylor are practicing in Brooklyn and preparing for the upcoming game against “Philadelphia 76ers”.

Tornike and Tyshawn held only one game with “Springfield Armor”. The team played against “Erie BayHawks” (119:127). The Georgian and the American were the best on the arena. Taylor earned 32 points in 38:21 minutes. Shengelia earned 20 points, 10 rebounds, 12 assists, 3 steals and 3 block-shots in 41:34 minutes. Tornike made triple-double which is the second for D-League in the current season. Basketball player of “Armor” made triple-double on December 4, 2010. That basketball player was Terrence Williams.
