Ukraine is preparing for the decisive match of the group. There was a hurricane several days before in Donetsk and that’s why UEFA let neither Ukrainians nor Englishmen to train at “Donbass Arena” on Monday. This decision is understandable because UEFA wants to have a good green lawn for the upcoming match.

It goes without saying that Ukrainians most of all think about Sevchenko. Oleg Blokhin head coach of the team mentioned that he will make decision about “Sheva” on the match’s day. But at Monday’s training “Sheva” was training intensively. Of course his absence will be a big loss for the team and Blokhin also highlighted it.

Before the upcoming match Ukrainian fans have different opinions, most of them whom I talked hope that Ukraine will manage to beat England and go through the next stage. Many of them even mentioned that as a result of coming back of Rooney the potential of English offence will grow and for Ukrainian defense it will be very difficult to stop forward of “Manchester City”.
According to Blokhin, in the upcoming match Englishmen will have more psychological problems, because they are considered as one of the favorites of the tournament and not going through the next stage will be a great unsuccessful for them. As he said, his team just need to go and win the match, they have to play well and no matter what the score will be. At the press-conference he was asked about the match against France and he answered in a rough style, as its common for him:” we have already passed it and I do not remember how we played against France. So, I am not going to answer this question”. Actually, journalists do not love Blokhin very much in Ukraine. It is due to his attitude towards the mass-media. I saw twice while being in Tbilisi, how he was talking to journalists and now, while being in Ukraine, I asked my colleagues about him and I cannot say that they are amazed with him.
Blokhin is considered as a lucky coach, but one of the Ukrainian journalists told me the following:” he settled his luckiness against Sweden”.
 By the way since opening “Donbass Arena”, Ukraine has held five matches there, but could not win any of them. Blokhin is going to break this unpleasant tradition with England. Let’s see what will happen, Ukraine was already whistled at once when it played against France at “Donbass Arena”, it will be cleared up if they are applaused at after the match against England.
