In the last days of London Olympics, international youth judo tournament – European Cup – was held in Berlin. Competition of young Georgian judokas is worth mentioning even several days later.

Youth team coached by Gia Gugava returned from Germany with 7 medals and team first place. 3 gold and 2-2 silver-bronze – it is the result.

Vazha Margvelashvili (60kg), Levan Gugava (73kg) and Guram Tushishvili (100kg) won gold medals and became champions. Georgian final was held in 100kg – Tushishvili beat Giorgi Kavtaradze. Like Kavtaradze, Revaz Tsulukidze (90kg) won silver medal. Lasha Taveluri (90kg) and Levan Matiashvili (+100kg) took the third place.
