Beradze in Boys, Kobeshavidze in Girls

Irakli Beradze won Georgian U-16 Championship which was underway at Chess Palace in the capital of Georgia, Tbilisi. He won 9matches from 9 and won right of competing at World Championship, which is held in the city of Brazil, Rio De Janeiro on November 12-22. Shalva Nadirashvili gained 7.0 points and took the second place. As a result he won right of competing at European Championship which is held in the city of Bulgaria, Alben on September 10-21.
Guga Burduli, Noe Tutisani, Giorgi Shonia, Giorgi Tskhadadze and Otar Mangiashvili tool the third-the seventh places with 6.0-6.0 points. Intrigue was kept till the end of the girls’ tournament. Nani Unapkoshvili leader of the tournament lost the last round unexpectedly.
As a result four participants became prize winners with 6.5 points from 9. Lika Kobeshavidze took the first place, she will compete at World Championship.
Unapkoshvili took the second place and will compete at European Championship. Natalia Imnadze took the third place and Ana Kuchava took the fourth.
