After a long break, Georgian man top seed tennis player Nikoloz Basilashvili returned to court in the city of Texas, Brownsville, though, he lost the first match.
In the first round of the tournament (15 000 USD), Basilashvili played against American Tyler Hochwalt and lost 6:3, 2:6, 0:6. In doubles tournament, No.4 seed duet of Georgian and Bulgarian Bakalov beat Australians Crowe and Kelly 7:6 (7:4), 7:6 (7:5) and went through ¼ final where they will play against Argentine duet (Ortiz-Trungelliti).
Basilashvili has 31 points and is in the 635th place at Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP).
In the first round of Antalya tournament (Turkey, 10 000 USD), Ekaterine Gorgodze lost against Belgian Anouk Delefortrie 2:6, 3:6 and as she did not participate in doubles tournament, Gorgodze finished competition in the tournament.
